good historic STAY
guest pantry convenient location tasty breakfast relaxing veranda
i appreciated the guest pantry, it had a variety of snacks available all day. the location proved very convenient, steps away from nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and downtown attractions. breakfast was delicious, provided tasty and filling options. the veranda offered a wonderful space to relax.

my queen room PATIO had a comfortable bed and antique furniture. The room included ample lighting and blackout curtains. A private patio offers direct access to a small garden.

the daily breakfast featured scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and fresh pastries. coffee and tea were readily available. robert offered liquors in the evening in order to conclude the day in A GOOD WAY.

this place sits in a nice neighborhood. it's easy to walk to various locations including stanley PARK. the central location gives quick access to robson street, georgia street, and granville STREET.

tired decor old spigot
The decor seemed quite tired, i must say. the room felt a bit stuffy. A standing fan didn't quite cut it. the bathroom seemed like it needed an update, especially the old spigot. It didn't feel very luxurious.

stained carpet dirty rooms
the staff at breakfast was very nice and friendly.
the place does not look like the pictures advertised. i booked two rooms and both had carpet with stains or bleach marks that did not look clean for the price paid.

The guest pantry offered complimentary snacks. Homemade cookies and banana bread were available. The location proved convenient as it was close to the city. The neighborhood had some nice restaurants and cafes.
The room had carpet that needed cleaning. I noticed stains and bleach marks on it. The backyard was not well-kept. Bird droppings covered the table and cushions.

admirable lodging experience
rear deck great location
i admired the breakfast and found it quite good. the home offered extra seating on the front porch, a special feature. i also observed a rear deck that gave additional space. the location was great too.
the decor looked tired, it felt old to me. a standing fan did not fully provide sufficient cooling. the bathroom looks a little above a hostel bathroom. for the price paid, i consider some updates are necessary.

staff members were friendly and helpful, a detail i noticed. their cute nature added positively to my visit. the team was quick to address my inquiries, and i found them attentive.

the guesthouse has a parlor with sherry available to guests, a nice addition. the location is near to local amenities, i noticed. stanley park is accessible from the guesthouse, it's easy to do by bicycle.
